Hanson Spancrete Pacific, Inc., and its predecessor,
Spancrete of California, have been in the structural
precast business for over 35 years. We offer a complete
line of structural precast components, as well as Engineering
and Drafting services to assist our clients.

History
In the early 1950's, precast prestressed concrete
was a new technology in Southern California. From
humble beginnings and its first use on the Arroyo
Seco overpass of the Pasadena Freeway fifty years
ago, precast prestressed concrete products have become
products of choice for today's construction industry.
Hanson Spancrete Pacific is proud to be able to trace
its history back to the early 1960's.
Today, Hanson Spancrete Pacific is the largest
producer of structural precast concrete products
for commercial applications in California.

Future
We are constantly working to make our products
better and more "user friendly."
Recent examples include the use of cazaly hangers for
precast prestressed double tees to eliminate unsightly
ledges of supporting beams, and the aid and assistance
provided for the first bolt-together precast
concrete ductile moment frame approved for seismic
applications.
As industry leaders, we emphasize staying at the
forefront of technology. Updated CAD systems and
a fully functional web site incorporating downloadable
design details are just some of the ways we use
cutting-edge technology to assist our customers.
From our beginning over 35 years ago, we have prided
ourselves on asking the question "why not?" From
being the first to utilize precast prestressed
concrete on malls and department stores to promoting
the use of rooftop parking instead of below-grade
parking, we have always been the innovative leader
in the use of precast. We are the new paradigm
for today's changing construction industry.
Design Development
From the preliminary design stage to final
installation, HSP is there to deliver. We pride
ourselves on the relationship developed with
designers, allowing us input for the use of our
products. We develop preliminary budgets that we
adhere to, we provide design and detailing
information to expedite the project and we aim to
have the entire construction team wanting to use
our products and services again.
